| Research Abstract |
昭和前期に日本の高等教育機関に学んだ台湾知識人の日本統治下における日本認識と、台湾社会での活躍や役割、さらにはその心情について、聞き取り調査によってその生の声を記録化し、当時の新聞、雑誌、公文書、手紙、手記などとの照合検討をとおして、これを社会・文化史的観点から多角的かつ具体的に解明した。その成果は『台湾と日本 激動の時代を生きた人びと』(大谷渡、東方出版、1頁-244頁、2008年)として出版した。
