Research Abstract

X線天文衛星により取得した観測データの解析により、銀河面X線放射に電離の進んでいない鉄からの輝線を発見し、数千万度の温度の希薄な高温プラズマガスからの放射に加えて非熱的放射が存在することを明らかにした。鉄輝線を中心に、X線スペクトルの特徴より起源について考察を行った。また、銀河中心、銀河円盤領域の観測中に見つかったトランジェント天体、銀河面X線放射との関連が深いと考えられる超新星残骸の解析も行い、これらの特徴、性質を明らかにした。
