Research Abstract |
Yukimatu and Tsutsumi, GRL, 2002 で開発した、SuperDARN レーダーによる高時間分解能観測・解析手法を発展させ、周波数領域干渉計(FDI)手法によるレンジ方向の高空間分解能観測をSuperDARN で初めて実現し、中間圏界面領域の高精度中性風観測に成功し、又、電離圏沿磁力線不規則構造(FAI)の生成・消滅過程に関する重要な知見を得た。更に、方位角方向の高空間分解能観測実現の為の重要な基礎データを得た。これらの新しい観測手法の実現は、電離圏・磁気圏相互作用や中性大気の研究発展に寄与するものである。
