Research Abstract |
A web-based radiology-teaching library with the images and comments has been already developed in Yamaguchi University, and 1,500 the teaching files have been registered on line for the Board Examination of Radiologists of the Japanese Radiological Society. In contrast, Radiological Society of North America have developed a web-based radiology-teaching library (Medical Information Resource Center : MIRC) which can search the teaching file from the database system dispersed in each institution in the world. We developed the Japanese-version software of MIRC in order to read and write in Japanese. Next, I used SSL for security containment in order to online run Japanese-version software of MIRC. Furthermore, we made the graphical user interface for the easy interactive handling by a learning person. In addition, case and discussion is effectively displayed, and the change of the level of problem can be designed according to the ability of a learning person. 500 examples are now registered in the Japanese-version MIRC. We implanted previous 1,500 cases into the MIRC server. Finally, 2,000 cases could be registered, and it is now available on on-line in Japanese Radiological Society.
