| Research Abstract |
わが国の疲弊した地方都市再生に資するLivable City(住み良い都市)のあり方を、ヨーロッパをはじめとした諸都市の先進的な都市整備の取り組みを精査した。その結果、都市の空間構造では公共交通網を基盤とした多機能で利便性の高い中心地ネットワークの形成が主流であったが、気候や宗教、産業構造などの自然・文化・社会に関する多様な要素についても都市の住み良さに強く影響していることも明らかとなった。
