Research Abstract	反応の乏しい重症心身障害児・者(以下、重症児・者と示す)と教育関係者等がインタラクティブなコミュニケーションを行うためのデバイスについて検討した。反応の分析手法として、重症児・者の教育分野で蓄積のある心拍の活用に着目した。4 つのサブシステムからなるシステムモデルを考案し、それをもとにデバイスの設計構築を行った。実際に重症児・者を対象として利用した結果、デバイスの基礎的な機能の実現が確認された。
