Research Abstract

遷移金属元素を含む金属酵素はあらゆる生命活動に必須で、元素の特性を利用することによって温和な条件下で高効率・高選択反応を巧みに制御している。本研究課題では、生命体の還元反応を触媒する「還元系金属酵素」に焦点を当て、その活性部位にある複雑なクラスターを人工構築するとともに、温和な条件下で基質を活性化する酵素の反応機構を解明する。
