Research Abstract

「核内受容体の主要な役割は生体内代謝産物をモニタ-し調節することにある」という観点から、転写制御を介した生体恒常性維持機構の解明を目指す。この目標に向けて、X線、NMR、電子顕微鏡による立体構造解析、バイオインフォマティックス、細胞生物学的手法などを駆使し、代謝産物による核内受容体活性化機構の構造基盤、核内受容体が認識するリガンドのカタログ化、転写調節複合体の機能解析および構造解析を行なっている。
