Outline of Final Research Achievements

Since the publication of Tian-Sheng Statutes, we have made further advance in comparative study of Ancient Japan and the Tang and the Song legal codes. We also made clear how Ancient Japan had accepted the Chinese Civilization in Nara and Heian periods. We held related international and domestic symposiums in the 63rd ICES and the 117th annual meeting of the Shigakukai to advance academic exchange between China and Japan and published a symposium book entitled "The Ritsuryo System in Ancient Japan and Chinese Civilization". Otsu made public two related books entitled "The Ritsuryo State and Sui-Tang Civilization" and "Fijiwara no Michinaga".

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
