2020年度は、これまでの研究成果を応用し，小学校と中学校でのがん教育の授業開発を行い，これを実践・評価した。がん経験者からのメッセージ動画を用いた授業により，児童のがんに対するイメージが変化したことが確認された。研究成果をもとに，がん教育のメッセージ動画，がん教育を推進するため研修動画を作成し，新潟県教育委員会の協力を得て，新潟県内の小・中学校にDVDに収めて配付した。
In FY 2020, we applied and evaluated the research results so far to promote cancer education in elementary and junior high schools. We confirmed that the lesson containing a video message from cancer survivors changed the children's image of cancer. Based on our research results, we created a video message on cancer education and a training video promoting cancer education, and distributed them on DVD to elementary and junior high schools in Niigata Prefecture with the cooperation of the Niigata Prefectural Board of Education.

Reason
海外のがん教育やグリーフの収集については，海外渡航ができず，予定通りに進まなかった。
However, I could not travel abroad and did not proceed as planned with respect to overseas cancer education and grief collection.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
高等学校を対象としたがん教育を検討し，実践・評価する予定である。また，引き続きデータ分析を実施する。前年度に中止となった海外事例の収集と応用を進める。
We plan to consider, put into practice, and evaluate cancer education in high schools. We will continue to analyze the results of the previous survey. We will also continue to collect data on advanced cancer education in other countries, which could not be accomplished in the previous year.
