Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we focused on the function of ATL31, a membrane-localized ubiquitin ligase conserved in plants, and investigated the signal transduction mechanism regulating pathogen resistance in plants. Our biochemical analyzes demonstrated that ATL31’s ubiquitin ligase activity was changed in response to MAMPs. We also found the specific ubiquitin chain type signals are involved in the ATL31-mediating pathogen attack signals in plan cells.
