Outline of Final Research Achievements

Recent human activities have destroyed connections among complex marine ecosystems, making it urgent to develop technologies for quantitative assessment, restoration, and conservation of ecosystem functions. In this study, we have developed a technology for evaluating the function of complex marine ecosystem based on the feeding behavior of a top predator, Epinephelus akaara (Japanese grouper).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
