| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the third year of this project (2020 fiscal year), we have completed immunofluorescence studies of CAM samples for EMT marker gene expression and electron microscopy studies of CAM samples for cellular junctional analysis. We have also completed bioinformatics analysis of CAM samples and have narrowed down perturbation experiments (electroporation and analysis time-wise). We are in the final stage of writing and submitting our findings for publication. We have also established a model for the type of EMT that involves two epithelial structures through apical-apical contact.
