Outline of Annual Research Achievements

エラスティック光ネットワーク(EON: elastic optical network)では、帯域全体が細かい帯域スロットに分割されており、光パスの要求に応じて異なる数の帯域スロットを割り当てる。その結果、帯域資源を効率的に利用することができる。光ネットワークは大容量の通信を行うため、データ送信の途絶やネットワーク機器における故障は大規模なデータや利益の損失を被る。 そこで, 障害に対する耐久性を考慮して光ネットワークを設定・運用する必要がある。

デフラグメンテーションの効果を高めてフラグメンテーションの影響を抑制するために、 1+1 パスプロテクションを適用したEONにおけるパスの経路変更と切り替えに基づくデフラグメンテーション方式を提案した。提案方式では、バックアップパスは帯域スロットの再割り当てだけでなく他のリンクへの経路変更も許容されている。ある特定のリンクが多数の光パスにより使われていて、新しい光パスの要求に必要な帯域スロットが不足するときに、設定されている光パスを他のリンクに経路変更することで、混雑しているリンク上に利用可能な帯域スロットを作る。パスの切り替えにより、プライマリパスとバックアップパスの両方が他のリンクに経路変更され、帯域スロットが再割り当てされる。

予測困難な光パスの需要(トラヒック需要)を想定して、光パスの設定・解除が繰り返される動的シナリオにおいて、光パス要求のブロッキングを低減するように、デフラグメンテーション方式を開発した。動的シナリオにおいて、光パスの経路とスペクトルが静的に与えられる条件(静的シナリオ)の検討結果を活用するとともに、動的シナリオではデフラグの途中で光パスが設定・解除が生じることを考慮し、最適化手法及びシミュレーションを用いて性能を評価した。

Reason

動的シナリオにおいて、1+1 パスプロテクションを適用したEONにおけるパスの経路変更と切り替えに基づくデフラグメンテーション方式の評価を行った。動的シナリオにおいても、経路変更を行わない従来方式と比較して、提案手法はブロッキング率を抑制し、許容通信量を増加させることを示すことができた。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

エラスティック光ネットワークにおいて、マルチコアファイバを活用して、信頼性、距離、及び、変調方式を考慮した経路選択・スペクトル割り当てを決定するネットワーク制御方式について、理論・実験の両面から検討を進める。
