Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度に引き続いて、ALMAによる観測データの解析を進め、原始惑星系円盤形成領域の物理構造と化学組成分布の研究を進めた。ALMAの大型観測プログラムFAUST(代表:山本智)によって観測した13個の低質量星形成領域について、系統的な化学的多様性が見られることがわかった。それらは、飽和した複雑な有機分子と不飽和炭化水素分子の存否をもとに4類型に分類できた。両者が共存する天体が標準的と見られ、前者後者の一方が顕著に見られる天体が、それぞれホットコリノ天体、WCCC天体である。重要なことは、両者ともみられない天体の存在を複数明らかにしたことで、それらは近傍の恒星からの紫外線輻射によって母体となる分子雲コアの温度が高かったと考えられる。このように、原始惑星形成領域の化学組成の多様性について、その全貌を明らかにするとともに、その起源についても環境効果が重要な役割を果たしていることを示した。

さらに、孤立した低質量原始星天体B335をALMAの最高分解能で観測した結果、原始惑星系円盤形成領域の外側の温度が内側の温度よりも高いことを突き止めた。このような温度分布は原始星からの輻射加熱では説明できず、降着ガスが円盤形成領域に突入する際の衝撃波による加熱であることがわかった。同様の現象は、我々の観測でIRAS 15398-3359やIRAS 16293-2422においても見られている。これらの結果は、円盤形成が物理的にも不連続な過程であることを観測的に示すものとして意義が大きい。

SUMIREによる分子スペクトル線の静止周波数と強度測定については、CH3OHの希少同位体種の測定を行った。特に、重水素濃縮の観測的研究で重要な役割を果たすCH2DOHについて、正確な遷移強度を実験的に求めることができた。これは、観測研究においても、分子物理の観点からも重要な成果である。
