Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Goals for FY3 were to complete survey and statistical analyses for Research Goal 1 (redundancy), Research Goal 2 (predictability), and Research Goal 3 (productivity). Goal 1 was completed ahead of time and presented at an international conference in FY2. It was published in an international journal (Phonological Studies) in FY3. Due to the corona pandemic, presenting Research Goal 2 was not possible. Instead, work was submitted directly to an international journal (without a conference presentation) and is currently under review. Research goal 3 has proceeded slowly, but is not yet at a stage where research can be presented at a conference. The Principal Investigator and the OC have continued to correspond via email and video conferencing during FY2.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Research Goal has been delayed due to the corona virus pandemic. Funds have been carried over to an extra compensatory year.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Research Goal 1 has been completed. Research Goal 2 was fasttracked (conference skipped) due to the pandemic and we hope research will be published in an international journal in the coming year. Research Goal 3 will proceed as planned in the compensatory extra year.

Causes of Carryover |
Corona pandemic delay
