Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The data investigating the ideal MRI sequence parameters for fMRI study at 7T, which showed the correlation between the number of total ICA components with head motion and framewise displacement (FD), was presented at ISMRI 2021 held on 15-20 May, 2021. This year we also finished the data collection of langue fMRI study at 7T of 16 trilingual Chinese native-speakers who manipulate fluently Japanese and English as their second and third languages. The preliminary analysis of this data showed there are some difference in brain activation pattern when Chinese native speakers process Japanese and English. In correlation with our previous results on bilingual subjects, the present results strengthen the impact of the native language literate on the processing of foreigner language we obtained.
