Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
No experiment has been carried out last year 2019-2020, due to construction at the Center for Education of Global Communication (CEGLOC) University of Tsukuba, where the experiment should have taken place in the CALL rooms that where dismantled. Another alternative with ipads has been conceived and online materials accordingly adjusted to the new set up. The PI received formal training in the latest articulatory training method on 2019-06-30. The preparation phase of the experiment was presented at the University of Tsukuba - 3rd CEGLOC Conference on 2019-12-07.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
Due to construction at the facilities used for the experiment.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
The experiment which was due to be held in 2019-2020, will be held in 2021-2022. The fact that courses at the University of Tsukuba have gone online makes it impossible to carry out the experiment.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Only the preparation phase has been implemented. Because the experiment has been delayed, the remaining amount will be used for: 1. Experimentation (data gathering, interviews, articulatory training) 2. International Conference participation in Tunisia (July 2021) 3. Data analysis and diffusion
