| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究は、戦後の日本の統治制度の改革について、安全保障的な観点に注目し、占領軍との関連で、軍官・軍民関係および文化・言語邂逅という側面から日本戦後政治史視点から分析を進めている。
2018年度は、著書および論文を執筆し、国際学会で報告し、国内で資料調査を実施した。
資料については、国会図書館および沖縄での文献を中心に調べた。沖縄における研究調査としては国立国会図書館および沖縄県立図書館、琉球大学図書館で文献資料を調べた。
研究成果については、2018年7月23日にブリズベーン市で開催された世界国際政治学会2018年度世界大会で“Territoriality and Post-Conflict Settlement"と題する報告を行った。ほかには研究テーマに間接的に関連する国内講演も行った。
学術書及び論文としては、Guns and Roses: Comparative Civil-Military Relations in the Changing Security Environmentと題する本を執筆・編集し2019年1月に刊行した。加えて、2019年3月刊行の『アジアの国際協力と地域共同体を考える』では「東アジアにおける戦後秩序の一つの起源」と題する章を執筆した。また、2019年3月刊行の『多文化社会研究』では「Iraqi Occupation and the Dynamics of Societal Risks」と題する論文を執筆した。ほかには研究テーマに間接的に関連する論文も執筆した。

国内学会および研究会のみならず国際学会において研究成果を公表した。また、研究に必要な資料を収集しこれに関連する調査を進めている。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
これまで収集した資料を分析し、新資料の確認を行う。海外においては、主に米国立公文書館での資料収集を継続する予定である。また国内としては、国立国会図書館や地域公文書館および図書館で調査を継続することを予定している。
