Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study is to clarify the academic questions of how education changes when excellent students and graduate students are involved in regular course educational activities as SA/TA, and how the mechanism of such educational improvement can be explained. Therefore,(1) What kind of changes will the introduction of SA/TA bring about in regular educational activities? (2) What kind of class design and management would make the best use of SA/TA? (3) What abilities and skills are necessary for SA/TAs, and what abilities and skills are necessary for those who train SA/TAs with such abilities, in addition to the publication of academic papers, we also established an inter-university network of faculty members involved in the training of SA/TAs.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

SA/TAによる授業支援の内容には授業ごとに様々なものがあるが、いずれの場合も教育の充実や向上を目指したものである。SA/TAの導入がなぜ授業改善につながるのかのメカニズムを明らかにすることは、本質的な教育改善のメカニズムを明らかにするうえでの重要な手掛かりとなりうる。
また令和4年度に大学設置基準が改正され指導補助者に研修が義務付けられたため、SA/TAの導入を検討している大学ではSA/TAの育成研修を合わせて検討する必要がある。SA/TAに必要なスキルや研修などを明らかにすることは、SA/TA制度を構築するうえでの一助となるはずである。
