Outline of Final Research Achievements

As a research achievement, a single book "Uchisamurai Kagura and Kayo" (Musashino Shoin, 2020) was published. This book was published with the grant of the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Research Achievement Publication Promotion Fund / Research Project No. 20HP5040) for the 2nd year of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Ordinance. The section is also included in the included papers.
He also published a general book, "Why Kagura Overcame the Onin War" (Shindensha Shinsho, 2021). In this book, the research results of the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research are explained in an easy-to-understand manner so that they can be widely understood not only by researchers but also by the general public.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

内侍所御神楽は、現在も皇居の賢所において、毎年１２月中旬に「賢所御神楽」として行われている。その成立については、多くの研究成果が公表されているが、１０００年以上にわたって継承されてきた過程については、具体的な成果が乏しいのが現状である。
本研究課題の研究成果は、これまでほとんど議論されてこなかった南北朝期・室町期の内侍所御神楽について、公家日記を中心とする古記録に基づきながら具体的に明らかにしたものである。さらに周辺の時代も研究することにより「内侍所御神楽史」という通史も視野に入ってくる。
