Research Abstract

超新星コアや中性子星内部では、所謂パスタ相という円柱状や板状の原子核から成る相が存在しうるとされてきた。佐藤は渡辺とともに、量子分子動力学法を用いてパスタ相の動的形成過程を解明した。
鈴木は、超新星近傍での自己相互作用を含むニュートリノ振動により順質量階層でも混合角が大きい場合にはspectral splitが起こり得ることを明らかにした。また、ニュートリノ観測で超新星コア内部におけるハイペロンの出現を統計的に区別できるかどうかを明らかにした。
山田と固武は、重力崩壊型超新星コアにおける定常降着衝撃波不安定では自転と同じ向きに回転するモードの成長が促進され、逆回転のものは抑制されること、軸対称モードは影響をあまり受けないことを明らかにした。また、3次元シミュレーションに基づき、超新星から放射される重力波が時間とともにランダムに変動する特徴を持つことを初めて明らかにし、重力波の観測が爆発のメカニズムを解明する上で欠かせないことを示した。その際、非等方なニュートリノ放射を起源とする重力波のレイ・トレース法に基づく新たな評価法を提示した。さらに、固武は滝脇と高速回転する強磁場星で起きると考えられるジェット状の爆発におけるニュートリノ振動の計算を行い、観測値を評価した。
橋本は、ガンマ線バーストのコラプサーモデルに基づき、親星の進化過程における元素合成を精密に調べなおし、超新星爆発で放出される元素量を算出した。その結果、ガンマ線バーストの持続時間に応じて極超新星に対応する56Niが生成されることを示した。
長滝は、ガンマ線バーストジェットの形成過程を調べるために一般相対論的磁気流体コードを作成し、数値シミュレーションにより初期に与えた弱い磁場が重力崩壊による圧縮と差動回転によって増幅され、回転ブラックホールからのエネルギー引き抜きに寄与し、ジェットを形成することを明らかにした。
