Research Abstract |
This project, taking multidisciplinary approaches, has aimed to analyze of what factors and components American national and state consciousness consisted and how it has transformed throughout American history. The temporary conclusion of this study is that while American nationalism originally derived its core value system from the universalist political philosophy of modern Enlightenment, it gradually transformed into a distinct and indigenous ideological persuasion in international scene through historical process of immigration of diverse population with various religious and cultural orientations.
