| Research Abstract |
多様な地域研究資料を客観的かつ包括的に分析・比較するためには、定性データを定量化する必要がある。本研究では定性的な地域研究データを定量化する手法として、特にデータの時空間特性に注目した方法論(地域情報学)の確立を目指す。具体的には、
(1)多様な地域研究資料を統合・処理するための地域情報モデルの構築、およびそれを実現する地域研究情報基盤の確立
(2)地域研究情報基盤を利用した資料収集
(3)地域情報学の疾病分析への適用
について、地域研究者・フィールド医学者・情報学研究者を中心としたコラボレーションを実施する。
