| Research Abstract |
冷戦崩壊後、国家が取り組むべき課題として、麻薬取引、人身売買、海賊、違法伐採、武器密輸など、いわゆる「非伝統的安全保障」の問題が急浮上してきている。とりわけ東西の交流拠点である東南アジアは、対処能力の低い国家も多いことから、この問題は深刻である。そこで、東南アジア諸国の地域研究専門家が研究代表者、分担者となり、現地の情報をもとに問題点を的確に把握し、その上で地域間協力を視野に入れた解決の処方箋を五年間の研究で提示することを目的としている。
