Research Abstract

ジフテリア毒素(DT)受容体を好塩基球あるいは好酸球に特異的に発現するトランスジェニックマウスを樹立した。DTの投与により末梢血中の好塩基球あるいは好酸球数が著明に減少し、抗原TNP-OVAの皮内投与で誘導されるIgE-Fc・RI依存性の慢性アレルギー反応による皮膚腫脹が軽減した。これらのマウスは好塩基球・好酸球の機能を解明する上で極めて有用であり、好塩基球・好酸球を標的とするアレルギーの治療法の開発に応用できる。
