Research Abstract

大腸菌の機能未知必須遺伝子の機能解析を行い、リポ多糖(LPS)、ペプチドグリカンの基質の輸送に関与すると考えられる遺伝子群、転写に必須と考えられる新規DNA 分解酵素コードする遺伝子群を同定した。また染色体大規模欠失株を用いて野生株では難しい定常期における生存に関与する遺伝子群の解析を行い、ヌクレオプロテイン複合体を形成し、多くのストレスからDNA を保護しているDps タンパク質が増殖、生存に重要であることを明らかにした
