Research Abstract	米国およびプエルトリコにおいてマイノリティの立場にあるプエルトリコ人女性たちが、それぞれの社会において一定の権限を持つ行政ポストに任用されている状況を具体的に明らかにし、それぞれのケースが当該社会におけるジェンダーをめぐる政治の中でどう位置づけられるか分析することを通して、米国とプエルトリコの間、そしてそれぞれの社会の中に存在する植民地的状況とジェンダーの関係が、現在どのような状態にあるかを明らかにする。
