Research Abstract	(1)サンスクリット大叙事詩マハーバーラタの内容構成および叙述の枠組を分析し、同叙事詩の形成過程を解明する。 (2)マハーバーラタと他叙事詩、例えばラーマーヤナやハリヴァンシャ等との関連について調査考察し、マハーバーラタ形成の諸段階のおほよその年代を推定する。
