| Research Abstract |
当初企画していた群馬県赤堀茶臼山古墳の家形埴輪群と毒島城遺跡の豪族居館との対応関係の調査・研究は、後者が中世の城館址として伊勢崎市指定遺跡となっているということで残念ながら計画変更せざるを得なくなった。それを承けて、同じ地域圏に存在する今井学校遺跡の豪族居館の発掘をとおして渡来人の存在形態が明らかになった。奈良県極楽寺ヒビキ遺跡と室宮山古墳の家形埴輪のように対応関係がつかめるものが存在する。
