Research Abstract |
This study empirically demonstrated that follower personal, relational, and collective self-construal moderates the preference for leadership style and the effectiveness of leadership behavior. Moreover, we showed that various leadership behaviors like transformational leadership, leader-member exchange, punishment, and self-sacrifice could change the way in which followers perceive themselves.
