| Research Abstract |
わが国の新しい高齢者問題のひとつである「孤独死」に着目し,地域における孤独死の発生状況や発生予防への取り組み,ならびに孤独死の関連要因を,事例検討,大規模調査,参与観察,郵送調査などの手法を用いて検討した.これにより,独居高齢者の対人ネットワークの特徴や地域性が明らかになった.またわが国の孤独死問題への取り組みの遅れとともに,地域ネットワークの活性化が孤独死予防に有効となる可能性を示唆する結果が得られた.
