Research Abstract |
The relationship between adults (teachers) and children (students) in school is not symmetrical. Teachers have power to define what happens there. There are some specific norms named "Regard to child" and these norms constitute educational phenomena. While examining the interaction which took place in classrooms, we studied current discourses on education and historical documents of school from the perspectives of social constructionism and ethnomethodology.
