| Research Abstract |
本研究は,階調画像と2値画像の可逆・準可逆画像符号化と情報埋め込みを研究対象とし,符号化効率(圧縮率と処理時間)の向上をさらに目指し,圧縮率と画質劣化に影響の少ない情報の埋め込み方式を実現することを目的とする.
研究期間内に実現あるいは明らかにしたい課題は,具体的に
(1)誤差拡散ディザ画像への情報埋め込みとブロック符号化の統合化
(2)JPEG-LSの可逆・準可逆符号化によるROI(Region Of Interest,注目画像領域)を含む画像の符号化
(3)テキスト圧縮で有効なn次マルコフモデルをベースとするPPM(Prediction for Partial Matching)の画像符号化への適用
(4)階調画像の低ビットプレーンにおけるランダムパターンの2値符号化
(5)画素ごとの予測係数の最適化によるリアルタイムな符号化,および
(6)上記の符号化課題(2)～(5)における冗長性を利用した情報の埋め込み方式
である.
