Research Abstract |
In this research, five new methods were proposed concerning on lossless and near-lossless coding of continuous-tone images and information embedding. Actually, five new methods : (1) block coding of error-diffused images with information embedded, (2) an error diffusion method for improving compression ratio by arithmetic block coding, (3) an information embedding method in JPEG-LS lossless coding, (4) a coding method of ROI (Region Of Interest) by reversible color transform and its background by near-lossless, (5) an improved method of modulo reduction of reversible color transform, were proposed.
