| Research Abstract |
本研究では、鞭毛運動におけるモーター蛋白質ダイニンの機能を理解するために、新に開発した鞭毛蛋白質の特異的標識法を利用して、ダイニン1分子の運動の様子と力発生過程を調べた。その結果、鞭毛ダイニンの効率的な力発生と運動には多分子が必要であることが示唆された。また、精製した鞭毛ダイニンのモーター活性を生体内に近い条件で調べる方法も新たに開発した。その方法により、3種類のモーター蛋白質が分子内に共存するタイプの鞭毛ダイニンでは、それぞれが互いに制御しあい協調して機能していることを見出した。
