| Research Abstract |
病原体などの異物は、通常私たちの体に侵入してもマクロファージなどの免疫細胞によって処理される。この場合の処理とは、細胞の中に特異的に取り込まれ分解されることを意味する。取り込みは「ファゴサイトーシス」と呼ばれ、またこの際に生じる分解される場所を「ファゴソーム」と呼ぶ。本研究により、ファゴサイトーシスの分子機構およびファゴソーム内での分解に必要な環境を調節する機構の一部が明らかになった。
