Research Abstract |
Twelve species of weedy plants invaded into alpine or subalpine zone of Mt. Hakusan. Natural hybrids between Plantago asiatica and P. hakusanensis were found at a subalpine site. In Poa anuua, several differences in life history characteristics were observed between lowland and alpine populations. In alien Taraxacum, part of species and hybrid types that distributed in lowland populations found in subalpine and alpine zones.
