| Research Abstract |
本研究は血圧制御に関与するアンジオテンシンII(Ang II)の代謝産物であるAng IIIの新規機能解明を行い、Ang IIIが脂肪細胞において主にAngiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2R)に作用し、抗糖尿病、抗動脈硬化、抗炎症作用を有するアディポネクチン分泌を上昇させること、また、グルコース取り込みを上昇させることを明らかにした。上記結果はAT2Rからの活性化シグナルがメタボリックシンドロームの改善に重要な役割を担っている可能性を示唆している。
