| Research Abstract |
新規E3ユビキチンリガーゼ, MIRファミリーは、免疫反応における抗原提示に関連する分子群、MHCクラスII, B7-2等の膜分子をユビキチン化する事により、免疫機能を抑制することができる。このファミリーの中でc-MIR2/MARCH I の欠損マウスでは抗原提示細胞である樹状細胞に分化異常があり、その異常はMARCH Iの標的分子であり、高発現しているMHCクラスIIの発現亢進に起因していることが明らかになった。この成果は、現在までに予想されていなかった樹状細胞の分化制御機構を明らかにできうるものである。
