| Research Abstract |
動脈硬化や血管形成術後再狭窄などの血管病では、血管平滑筋細胞は形質変換し、リモデリングを進めて病態形成の原因のひとつとなる。近年、骨髄細胞が血管前駆細胞として血中に動員され平滑筋細胞へ分化し、傷害後血管の修復と病態形成へ寄与することが知られてきている。本研究では、細胞分化の調節因子であるNotchシグナルが末梢血単核球から血管平滑筋細胞への分化に関与することを明らかにした。
