| Research Abstract |
これまでの我々のDNA-PK(DNA依存性プロテインキナーゼ)の研究成果を臨床応用に近づけることを目標として、DNA-PK活性を阻害して、放射線による殺細胞効果を増感する方法の開発を目指した。そこで、ギメラシルに注目して研究を行った。ギメラシルは、抗癌剤TS-1の一成分であり、肝臓での5-FUの分解を阻害し、血中5-FU濃度を高値に保つ作用をもつ。しかし、ギメラシル自体が放射線増感効果を持つことが報告されており、その放射線増感の分子メカニズムを検討した。
