| Research Abstract |
納豆は食品ですが、納豆石鹸をはじめ、その成分の効能を活かした食品として以外の使用も試みられています。納豆のネバネバは、納豆菌が作るポリ-γ-グルタミン酸(以下、γ-PGA)という物質で、生体適合性、生体内分解性、生分解性、保湿性、吸湿性に優れています。そこで、このγ-PGA を含有した入れ歯安定剤を作ることを検討しました。現在市販されている入れ歯安定剤よりも、γ-PGA は口腔不快感が少なく、入れ歯が非常に安定することがわかりました。
