Research Abstract |
One of the CLE family member, CLAVATA3 (CLV3) peptides consist of12 or 13 amino acids that regulate shoot apical meristem function in a non-cell-autonomousfashion. We isolated many CLE peptide resistant mutants, and we reported that RPK2functions to transmit the CLV3 peptide signal as a receptor (Kinoshita et al., 2010).Recently, we have sequenced whole genome of the 47 CLE peptide resistant mutants, andidentified causal mutations.
