Research Abstract	植生遷移の進行に伴う水獲得競争の激化が植物の水利用様式を変化させ、その結果として水源の使い分けが生じるということを、同位体トレーサー手法を用いた現地調査によって明らかにした。その際、吸水量プロファイル推定のための逆解析手法を開発した。また、異種間の水獲得競争を考慮できる水輸送モデルを構築し、これを用いた数値シミュレーションによって、水源変更のパターンやその要因を分析した。
