Research Abstract |
This study examines how the politics of the environment is associated with governmental process in postwar Japan. To explore this issue concretely, it analyzes governmental and congressional strategy and action for asbestos management by the process tracing methods. As a result, this study reports the importance to illustrate 'arenas of power', the idea by Theodore J. Lowi, on environmental politics.
