| Research Abstract |
多様体間の微分可能写像を用いて多様体のトポロジーについて研究することを目的とする。もう少し具体的に言うと、代数的トポロジーに帰着し完成されたとされる埋め込み・はめ込み理論において各次元・各写像に固有の幾何を探ることにより代数的トポロジーの幾何的な意味を明らかにすることや、低次元多様体の高次元多様体への埋め込み・はめ込みを扱うことにより高次元トポロジーと低次元トポロジーを結びつけることなどを目的とする。
