| Research Abstract |
マグマ中の気泡に含まれる火山ガスは何らかのメカニズムにより噴火を伴わなくても大気中に開放(=脱ガス)されていると考えられる。このメカニズムを理解する為に気泡を含む高粘性流体にせん断変形を加える実験を行った。その結果、ある条件に於いてせん断が気泡を変形させ、脱ガスが起きる様子を観察する事に成功した。この条件を更に定量化する事で実際の火山における脱ガスが起こる条件を特定できると考えている。
