Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this KAKENHI program, each member presented a paper related to this research topic, and the entire group made a panel presentation at the Autumn Conference of the Kansai Branch of the Society for Modern Japanese Literature. At the same panel presentation, under the title of "Fundamental Research on the Magazine 'Shoutenchi': A Case of Local Literary Media in the Meiji Period-", member Shoji acted as moderator, while Kakeno, Takemoto, and Nishiyama acted as panelists. It was decided to take the stage. In addition, based on the panel presentation, we created and published a reprint of "Shotenchi" as a culmination of research funded by this KAKENHI. In particular, a commentary edition was attached as a separate volume, and data such as ``Synopsis of the works published in the ``Shotenchi'' novel list'' and the ``Shotenchi'' author index'' were released along with the papers of each member.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
明治期大阪の画期的な文芸誌であるにもかかわらず、これまでほとんど研究されずに歴史に埋もれていた『小天地』という雑誌の存在価値を、文学のみならず美術や社会史に関わる多面的なアプローチにより浮かび上がらせたところに、本研究成果の学術的意義がある。 また、多くが散逸してしまい、全25巻を通読することは困難な状態にあった『小天地』を、収集したデータや論稿を別冊として付しつつ復刻できたのは、学術的のみならず社会的にもたいへん有意義なことであった。今後、日本近代文学研究にとどまらない文化史、ジャーナリズム、美術史の研究など、様々な研究領域での利用が期待される。
