Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I have researched writing center pedagogy and focused on mediated learning in online writing center contexts. The conference proceedings publication provides a roadmap as to how and why administrators of Japanese high schools should integrate virtual writing centers into their schools. I am currently working on two further publications related to this research project. The first is a book chapter about the affordances of videoconferencing technology for virtual writing centers. This chapter is scheduled to be published in 2023. I am also in the process of writing up a research paper connected to obuchenie in writing center tutorials. This is scheduled to be published in 2024.Conference Presentations:2023. Learning How to Learn in Writing Center Tutorials. CamTESOL, February 18, Institute of Technology, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.2023.
